Job Description

The Quality Lab Technician will collect samples from production lines, test, monitor, inspect, and verify product/packaging quality and environmental conditions in process areas. The role involves performing physical and instrumentation testing and analyses, calibrating equipment, and maintaining data records. Ensuring safety regulations and GMP standards are met while sustaining an efficient product flow through production is crucial.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and test samples from production lines
  • Operate and calibrate equipment, including metal detectors, pH meters, thermometers, scales, oil meters, moisture analyzers, dichromats, and seal tanks
  • Record and maintain accurate data in a timely manner

Requirements

  • 1 year of related experience in food processing
  • Strong understanding of food safety requirements and GMPs
  • General knowledge of operation and calibration of key equipment
